Choi Soobin was a shy young boy when he entered elementary school, but that one boy helped him out of his shell, Choi Yeonjun. Yeonjun and Soobin became close friends as they grew up because of their shared dream, to debut as idols together. But, that dream was crushed as the summer of 6th grade came around. Yeonjun and Soobin were separated because of their separate middle schools, Soobin became shy and lonely once more.

15 years later and Soobin is attending a college along with his best friend from high school, Choi Jisu. Soobin is still gay, especially since his friend group is all girls. One day Jisu decides to bring Soobin to a newly opened cafe right outside their school's campus named CROWN. Soobin starts to recognize the young man working there and decides to ask his name...
