Kyrae is a werewolf. Chased away from her birthpack, her parents murdered, her friends turned against her, where will fate lead her now? Will she be forced to remain in the cold ways of the wild as a Rogue, hated and with no true home? Or will she find love, a home and a pack? That, does happen. Captured by three wolves, she is brought to her long-lost brother's pack, him being the proud Alpha. There she joins, but things aren't so lucky for the she-wolf, fate hasn't finished playing with her yet. Danger threatens the pack's very existence, and loyalties are put to the test, pain and death on the line, betrayals made and darkness on the verge of staking the hearts of the werewolves. An ancient enemy risen from the ashes of hatred, fear and darkness. Will they be strong enough to survive? Or will the light be lost, and their carcasses be left to feed the crows?

Kyan, beta of a wolf shifter pack, is second-in-command and fiercely dedicated to his role. Heartbreak and years of chasing an elusive soulmate have left him jaded, his patience thin with his packmates. Trust is a luxury he no longer affords, and he fills his spare hours with casual company, resigned to a life without deeper joy. When the alpha's little sister returns after four years of training, she's not the kid he remembers. Her time away has shaped her in ways he can't quite pin down. Could her presence shake up his guarded routine-or will it just be another reminder of what he's given up on?
