Blamed for her parent's death, Starlet had become the packs piranha. Starting an endless cycle of torment for her. One she was not sure she would ever be able to escape.

For thirteen years, Starlet had lived a life full of rejection and fear. Never feeling like she belonged. Always looking over her shoulder, waiting for the next assault to come.

It wasn't a life anyone would want to live, yet, she bared it all. Waiting for the day she would meet her mate and finally escape the hell she called home. But as luck would have it, when the day finally came, all her dreams came crashing down. Having nothing more to lose, Starlet vowed to escape.

Out of the reach of her old pack Starlet bloomed. She became something she never thought herself to be; strong. So strong in fact, that when her new life collided with her old life even the mate she left behind could hardly recognize her.

What will happen now that Starlet wasn't the weak, defenseless girl everyone believed her to be? Will she be able to forgive and forget easily or will her mate drive her over the edge?

Buttons are being pushed and with a threat looming ahead who will be on the brink?

Kylie survived the brutal destruction of her pack only to discover her cold alpha mate was the one responsible for the brutal slaughter of her family and pack mates. She can't forgive and she won't forget. Kylie cooperates with his demands while she searches for a way to free the remaining survivors and herself. Success teaches her just how complicated mate bonds can be and gives her the chance to choose her own fate. "Screw the mate bond. If I went for his throat while he was driving in human form, I might be able to kill him right now, and if I didn't succeed, the resulting accident might. I leapt for the front seat, powerful jaw ready to rip out his throat as he had ripped out my family's to take my revenge. Without even taking his left hand off the wheel, he blocked me by getting his right forearm between my jaws. I bit down as hard as I could, wishing to break his bones and sever the limb. Worse, I felt the tingles of our first contact where violence had connected us. The iron of his blood mingled with the other scents around me." (This is a dark story, but not the stereotypical one where she falls in love with her captor. This is the story of escape from a toxic relationship and finding healthy love.) MATURE content including violence, dubious consent, intimacy, and mature and other possibility upsetting themes like threats of suicide and miscarriage. Not intended for the 18- crowd, sorry. #1 in Protective (10/23/21, 02/02/22) #1 in Pack (10/24/21)

Then it hit me. The scent of my mate. The one I'd love and spend the rest of my days with. "Mine," he growled. I was forced up against the wall as he began to kiss me roughly. I managed to take a peek at my mate. The school's very own player. Otherwise known as the guy who infuriates me to the depths of hell. I shoved him off me and made him look me in the eye, "I don't care if you're going to be Alpha. You will always be the jerk I hate and the player I despise. I will not be looked upon as another of your minions. Yeah, I just rejected you." I snarled. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Shayla Hale is just another 15 year old werewolf, eagerly waiting for her 16th birthday so she can find her mate. She wasn't popular, and she wasn't a loner. Following her around, was the school's player, with a hobby of annoying her. She hated him for taking so much interest in her, since she knew all he was is a disappointment. Chase Anderson is the school's player, and the guy every girl swoons for. He's always found Shayla interesting, since she wasn't like the others. Witty comebacks, never sparing him a second glance. Being the hard to resist, soon to be Alpha of his Dark Wolfe pack, he needs to find his Luna. What he wasn't prepared for was his very own mate rejecting him. Will Shayla stay true to her word? Will Chase prove his mate wrong? What happens when Chase goes back to his player ways? How about when Shayla's childhood lover returns? *** I wrote this when I was 12/13 and it was the first romance/teen-fic/werewolf story I ever wrote at the time. Please go easy on my 12/13 year old self 😬

AFRAID OF THE DARK

34 parts Complete Mature

I've watched and witnessed the mate bond between numerous wolves throughout the years. Werewolves. We all have a mate. One that is meant to be the other halves of our souls. Mates destined just for each other. When a wolf finds their mate, it should be the most wonderful experience. Love at first sight at its best. I wanted to feel what they felt. I wanted to meet my mate. I wanted to fall irresistibly, undeniably, and eternally in love. That's what mates are supposed to do, but I learned it's not the case for everybody. It wasn't the case for me. ____________________________________________ Camilla is starting a new life in a new pack after the death of her Grandfather, the man that raised her. Her grandfather had taught her the laws of a great werewolf ruler in the making. She learns the hard way that not everybody plays by the rules. Her Alpha mate tosses her away like yesterday's trash, literally. She will need to learn how to stay strong and survive against the werewolves that make up their own rules. What she doesn't realize is that there is something more dangerous lurking in the shadows. Something so ferocious it brings strong reason for being afraid of the dark.
