Eleanor!" an all familiar yet strangevoice barked

 I could hear the venom and distaste on his tongue,  I quickly rushed downstairs waiting for fate to claim me

 I hated the fact I'm like this,  always weak and fragile,  soon his hands came crashing on my cheeks and I didn't have time to dwell on the pain as he continued his usual assault on me...


I felt tears trickle down my cheeks as I tried to look at him... I always had hope that maybe just maybe I could get a glimpse a tiny winy glimpse of a man,  a man I called my father
but I could see the rage and hate absorbed in those green eyes I grew to love but that seems like a long time ago at that point I knew I had lost him a long time ago
