The Outlaw and the Den

Merrys Grey, a nineteen-year old thief, spends her days stealing from the village market and making whatever money she can to support her family. But when the legendary outlaw, Finian, catches her stealing from him and recruits her as one of his own, she is dragged away from her small town and given the chance of a lifetime: to use her skills as a thief to do something good in the world.

Finian opens up a new world for Merrys, with his easy charm and unconditional faith, and he welcomes her into his family-an eclectic band of thieves that hide out in their underground haven. Together, they set out on a mission to gain information on the corrupt King of Mora, Iver Torryn. Merrys's world erupts around her as they uncover a potential war threat from the King himself. The group's mission becomes clear: find out what Iver is planning, and put a stop to it. Soon, Merrys's life becomes battling royal guards, fitting in with her new-found family, and falling for a knife-happy girl with a big heart.

But as time goes by, the pressure rises. After an attack on their beloved hideout, the group must relocate to a coastal city that has boarded itself up. There, under the shelter of an old Lord, they find what they've been looking for: a way to take down Iver. As the threat of war lingers on the horizon, the group must find a way to save Mora before it is too late.
