In the year 2012, the apocalypse had finally begun in December 12. a virus had spread all over North America, and almost all of the survivors were forced to build an underground city called "The Safe Haven", to hide from creatures that we have dubbed the "Dead Walkers", zombie-like creatures that feast on human flesh.

Two years later, eighteen year-old Joseph Grey has finished training to become a soldier so that they can find a cure and put an end to this madness. However, his soul purpose is to find and reunite with his missing sister, Esther, who is struggling to survive in the surface.

As twelve year-old Esther desperately waits for her brother to find her, she overcome the horrors of the Dead Walkers, and the madness of those who, like herself, are struggling to survive.

Joseph will stop at nothing to find his sister, but will they ever be reunited or will the Dead Walkers kill her first?
