Magic is normal in this world. Our society and politics are not affected by the fact that we have magic. There is also no limits to what magic you can use. You did, however, have to learn how to access and use magic properly. They added a Magic's class to every school around the world for this reason. There can also be people without the ability to access magic. These people are known as "duds." These people were also considered the lowest of the low. Magic also has varying degrees of difficulty. Some of the most hardest magics to learn is mind reading magic and time travel. One magic, summoning, can be either difficult or easy. Summoning things like cups and pencils is fairly easy. Summoning other things, though, such as wings or horns can be as difficult as mind reading or time travel.

I thought I was normal. That's what I was always led to believe anyways. But then one day a portal opened up in my closet and someone yanked me onto the other side. Like a fantasy, a dream come true. I hate to break it to you but that's unrealistic, untrue. The real world just isn't like that, for most people that is. There's the lucky few who are a part of that community, that live joyously in the magical realm, surrounded by magic every waking moment. That sounds fantastic, doesn't it? A living fairytale you could say. For most, yes. Then there's Luna. Luna, despite being involved in the magical realm, never belonged. She didn't have powers so was treated as an outcast, rejected by everyone including her own family. They shunned her and soon banished her from not just their home but the whole magical realm. Now she lives in the human world, going about her everyday life like an average person. She's left her previous life behind and that's just how she likes it. Unfortunately for her, you can't escape your past forever. No matter how much she protests, magic will always be a part of her life, hiding in the shadows, undetected but still there. All she wants to do is complete her final year of school without so many 'unusual' complications. As you're most likely aware, life never goes according to plan. Magic has always been a problem in her life and now it's back to haunt her. All that needs to be said is that she's not pleased. Can't the world just accept that she's ordinary? The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? Any resemblance to real ones is purely coincidental. The story contains some violence and some explicit scenes of gore, but nothing too bloody or disgusting.
