The paladins of Voltron all became a space family. Shiro as Space Dad, Allura as big sister like mother, and the rest of the siblings.
So what happens when Lotor the half breed emperor of the Galra wants to take away their beloved small space sibling; Pidge.
(During this AU they find out Lotor is evil a few months before they defeat him.)
With lots of laughter, love wandering around, new dangers to fight, and a family to protect, the paladins take the overprotectiveness for Pidge too series. In the end, Pidge is captured and taken to the emperor. Months later reunited with her space family, she recovers--! Slowly, with the help of her friends, family, brother and most importantly technology.
The universe depends on the paladins of Voltron. They are warriors ready to fight! Going on missions and solving problems! Because Voltron is the Legendary Defender of the Universe.

His family is captured by the galra and he lives with his uncle and was found by allura for his mastery in mechanics and culinary. Allura Is a princess before zarkon attacked and took over her kingdom, for 1 year she's been storing her magic to defeat zarkon and haggar in one attack, she gathered four paladins and only needs the blue paladin, once she has found all 5 paladins, she and the five paladins must search for the five lions of voltron. Voltron: Rise of the Lion Defenders
For millennia, the Galra Empire has plagued the universe by destroying civilizations and enslaving various races. The only threat to the empire is the legendary "Defender of the Universe" Voltron, a 328-foot tall robot warrior composed of five lion robots, based on their own elements, whose pilots are known as Paladins. At the crux of the war that ended with the destruction of planet Altea, King Alfor separated Voltron to protect him from falling into the evil Galra King Zarkon's possession. King Alfor sent the Voltron Lions across the universe to different locations to hide them from Emperor Zarkon. Princess Allura, Alfor's royal adviser Coran, and the Altean Castle of Lions were hidden on planet Arus along with the Black Lion. In the present, the Galra Empire's path of conquest and search for Voltron has led them to Earth's solar system. A group of space pilots-Shiro, Keith, Lana, Pidge, and Hunk-discover the Blue Lion and immediately get swept up into the Galran War. They meet Princess Allura, become the new Paladins, and reunite the five Lions to form Voltron, beginning their fight to liberate the universe from the Galra Empire. Book Cover belongs to me.
