five years ago, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell disappeared from Neverland. . .

there was no goodbye, no note, no evidence of foul play; it was as if they were there one moment, and then gone the next.

since then, the magic has seemingly drained from the land. . . the mermaids fled their polluted waters, the lost ones began to age at a normal rate, the faeries lost their ability to fly; Neverland was in ruins. . .

five years ago, Captain James Hook took hold of Neverland; forcing the natives, fae, and lost ones, to do his bidding.

Evony Angela Carter is the last living relative of Wendy Moira Angela Darling; and she is the ONLY relative, who chose to STAY on Neverland.

she had only been there a month, when Peter disappeared. . .

now, she, Nibs, Tootles, and Ace, are all that's left of the original lost ones, along with all the new children Hook has kidnapped. Ev has lost all hope in freedom, and has instead settled on survival; keeping herself and her children alive, is all she thinks about.

but when a teenage boy with somewhat familiar features, comes to Evony in the dead of night, claiming that he has no memory of who he is, but continues to have strange visions of green faeries, mermaids fighting with girls in blue dresses, boys in costumes falling from trees, and a secret that only Evony should know, the childhood hope she'd been missing so much, seems to resurface.

could this boy be her missing Peter? she isn't sure. he's much older; colder, then she remembers. he wants to know who he is, and yet he can't seem to grasp that he is their only hope.

HE is Peter Pan, but if he can't remember before Hook does, then Neverland may be doomed for all eternity. . .
