 one night zack was talking on the phone with his wife about his little sister and her best friend when something she said pisses zack off
"What do you mean he his her?" Zack yell into the phone obviously not knowing I'm there. I stay silent wanting to know the answer as well. Just knowing a man put his hand on a woman makes my blood boil.

"Anna calm down it's just a black eye I've had worse" I tell my best friend not knowing that her sister in law was on the phone with zackary Anna big brother than all of a sudden like he was in the room instead of on the other side of the world I heard him yell

It had been an hour since I had gotten the call that changed my life. It still hadn't hit completely hit me yet, probably because it was only 3 a.m. I wasn't crying like everyone was expecting me to be doing. As we pulled into the hospital parking lot I was begging to wake up. I counted my fingers. 1. 2... 6. 7.. 10. I had ten fingers. I read somewhere that in dreams you have extra fingers. So this was real.
