Daphne longed for something more than what the ocean held for her. She is tainted by the race that she was born to lead if anything happened to her brothers that made them incapable of leading their kingdom. There was nothing down there for her that would give her any happiness.

She needed something that could pull away from the feelings of hate that she feels for herself. The depression that seeps into her bones every time she is hit, either with words or an object. Daphne needed something that would save her from the world that she is withering in.

Maybe she could find what she is looking for in the world up above. The one where she and anyone in her kingdom are forbidden from adventuring to. It was a world that was just only out of her reach. She only had to find a way to get there.

Then maybe she could find her happily ever after.

A merman living in a half-sunken Venice must decide between revealing himself to the oppressive humans to pursue the man he wants or repressing his desires to save everyone that matters to him, except himself, in The Sunken City. There isn't even a word for what Caydo is. At seventeen, he only knows that he is different. If Caydo manages to restore the magic that allowed his kind to breathe underwater, they could live free of the humans, but he would be trapped with the merpeople, who will never accept his sexuality. Attracted to a devious human from the surface, Caydo must navigate a new world of card games and vices, which could bring more trouble, instead of the romance and the refuge he craves. At fifteen, Caydo's younger sister, Sarzana, must choose either to stay a mermaid or to become a human, as it is illegal to bend after she turns sixteen. Unbeknownst to her family and friends, she has already chosen a human life designing buildings, which goes against the merpeople's goddess. The surface might not be welcoming to a mermaid, but the humans have the answer to what happened to her father in the attacks ten years ago. Told from multiple perspectives, the world of the merpeople and the ruins of Venice come to life in this engaging story of fearlessness and hope in the face of adversity. NEW CHAPTERS RELEASING EACH FRIDAY! THE COMPLETE BOOK WILL BE AVAILABLE ON NOVEMBER 19TH, 2021! Don't forget! You're magical! Mature Rating due to violence and sexual content.

When Eko is kidnapped from his home in the deep Atlantic by members of an ancient cult, his only hope of returning to his life as a merman is the Heart of Poseidon, the source of his people's power, and the object the cultists want most. Following a grueling transformation into human form, Eko finds himself trapped in the small but dangerous town of Porthaven, Maine where he desperately searches for a way home. But the closer he gets to his goal, the more he finds himself drawn to his human savior, a kind human girl who helps him see the Upperworld and his new air-breathing body not as a prison, but as an opportunity for reinvention after the iron caste system of his old life. But even she is wrenched away when the cult leader discovers Eko's whereabouts and threatens everyone standing between him and the Heart of Poseidon. Forced to tap into a dark and lethal power in order to save the girl he's come to love, Eko uncovers ancient truths, and begins to suspect that the cult has motives poised to change both worlds forever. With consequences far worse than anyone could imagine.
