As a child, Lumen Price was afraid of the monster under her bed. She came to discover that the monster wasn't as scary as she'd previously thought. Noxis, the monster under the bed, became Lumen's best friend. Now that Lumen's a senior in high school, things begin to change. Vice Kinley, the boy who has bullied Lumen all her life, apologizes after years of torment. Will Lumen forgive Vice for all that he's done to her?
