Cast from the ranks of angels that protect humans from medieval forces of evil, Gerard (née Gennadois) has become what they call a Fallen, an almost vampiric arch nemesis of the aloof creatures of light humanity has come to know. With ragged, clipped wings and pale, gaunt features, he inspires fear in the most steadfast of humans, unlike his cherubic counterparts.
Gerard wants nothing more than to exist in debauchery and decadence to forget the horrors of his past. The Fallen race he has become a part of typically descends into madness mere years after their outcast, existing too close to the fickle human creatures, but Gerard has resisted the animosity in his brain for countless years. The human world's ever-changing quality, one which torments the minds of other angels, is a rhythm he finds so nostalgic, but he has grown to want nothing more than his wings-his freedom.
Frank spent his whole life waiting. Empty, a shell masquerading as a person, his death came in the merciful form of a bus, cutting through him like a blade through his wrists. Now reborn and appearing mysteriously in the New Jersey hub with dim, disjunct recollection of his previous life, he is sent on a mission: to finally dispatch the rogue Fallen wreaking havoc in the human world. When he is separated from his partner and forced into Gerard's clutches, he must make a choice: to complete his mission or aid the fallen angel in his journey back from the inferno.

Gerard's life was almost perfect; hot boyfriend, good relationship with his family, great job as a professional comics illustrator, and he even managed to get a lavish apartment with his childhood best friend, Jamia. There wasn't much he would change about his life, except for one tiny detail. Jamia's hot as fuck, asshole boyfriend- Frank Iero. Gerard truly believed that the only reason Frank was put on this earth was to torment him. They do say the shorter you are the closer you are to hell, and man was this guy short. Frank reminded Gerard of his high school bullies, minus the physical violence. Frank preferred much more to cut Gerard with his words rather that hit him- at least he could give the punk that much. That was pretty much his only complaint, though. He thought everything was going amazing, nothing could possibly go wrong, right? Wrong. Gerard's world suddenly took a sharp turn when he walked in on the love of his life in bed with someone else, and when he stepped through his front door, heartbroken and exhausted from crying the whole way home, who else would be there to comfort him but Frank Iero? Would Frank fight the demons away? Or would it just be more torture on Gerard's heart and soul? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi guys!! So in honor of MCR OFFICIALLY getting back together, the new tour and most importantly the new influx of FRERARD content, I have decided to start a new fic! As a detective, Gerard is required to be suspicious, so much so that he is limited in human connections and empathetic abilities. The more uncanny events get, the more he realises how redundant trust is and why he swore off love so early on. Frank is a newcomer in a quiet, sleepy town, trying to escape his past. It's dull and boring until the arrival of a newcomer that could be the making or breaking of him. Gerard has demons of his own and is shipped off to his Uncle's place in the ass end of nowhere to sort himself out. He can't imagine anything worse until he stumbles upon a punk kid who seems to have secrets of his own. Frank is determined to keep himself to himself, but Gerard is an annoying, nosy, pain in the ass, who, for some reason, Frank can't seem to get enough of.
