Closing Space

The year is 2835, and humanity has collapsed. Verity Ouran is the last human alive, all because she was meant to be the first person to land on Venus. But then someone - Verity was not quite sure who - destroyed the Earth with nuclear missiles.

It's been seven months since Verity was picked up by a group of nomadic aliens called the Loyids. Verity would hate to admit it, but she's been crushing hard on the engineer, Naomi.

Unfortunately, Naomi and the rest of the Loyids are deaf and mute, since sound can't travel in space. Even though it can on their spaceship, the Nova, the Loyids evolved without needing the sense of hearing.
