"I'm going to need guns, BIG guns." During a war in Colonies in 2154, a baby is born and dies before she can take her first breath. During a war in Colonies in 2154, the same baby's sister is born and lives to tell the tale. That baby's sister becomes 15-year-old Carina Winters, an enigmatic outlaw. Living in a world full of secrets, she is desperate to find her missing father. Carina's world is ruled by an unspoken heirachy. Everyone knows that it exists, but no one is allowed to disscuss it. On the top is the Regals. The rich, the 'intelligent', the Royals. They control the average citizen's lives, so when Carina is bumps into the rebels, she doesn't hesitate to join them to get rid of the heirachy once and for all. However, Carina finds herself troubled by their unsafe ideals and becomes overwhelmed with moral questions.
