Getaway Car

"Getaway Car" is a short "poem" about leaving the part of you that carries a burden in your chest everywhere you go. It's about the feeling of being able to be free and happy. Not a lot of people get to feel happy these days, just because of how cruel the world can be sometimes.
People say that it's the way you handle things when it comes in bad, but what if we don't want to handle it? What if we just pretend nothing had ever happened and start things off like a fresh piece of paper?
At the same time, it's the need of love that's lacking in the process. At times, we can't love in ourselves, but maybe someone out there will and in "Getaway Car" all that love that's pining leads up to how much them lovers are willing to go. Is the trust strong enough for the pair of star crossed lovers to rely on each other at this journey?
