Meeting Rikan, a fellow human-Pokémon, the traveled together to Treasure Town, only to be faced with Darkrai, who gives them a single message after losing a fight. From his message, it seems that the world is in danger once again, after being saved twice by Team Valentine. But Team Valentine are locked in Darkrai's nightmare, and they cannot save the people from the two new Legendaries that being to terrorize the newly healed world. Pattie also finds that instead of being human, she has become a Pokémon! After going into a place called Beach Cave to find two crooks who steal something very important to Blazie, they get the help of an Espeon named Elyon to get it back. The three become friends after they get the treasure of Blazie's back. Pattie teams up with Blazie and Elyon to become a member at Wigglytuff's Guild, one of the best Rescuing Guilds around the world, trying to figure out her past, and how she turned from human to Pokémon.
