I felt them getting closer. I heard the growls as if they were next to my ear. They are going to kill me if they catch me! I can't let that happen, they will most likely make it a long and horrid death. I shook in fright but didn't dare turn back. It was no shock, they were monsters in every retrospect. I was a foolish human believing that I could actually pull this off. I laughed in my head. I should have known better. I was in their lands of course they knew it better than I. This forest seemed to go on for miles. I was never gonna get away.

My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice.
