"They say we'll die if we touch the warm waters. They say my duty is here, beneath the frozen waves. But what if I was meant for more?"

Ray isn't just another merman-he's a prince of the mer-people, heir to the icy kingdom of Frozen Bay. His mother, Queen Aquina, is determined to keep him tethered to tradition: rule the kingdom, marry, and produce an heir. But Ray dreams of a different life, far from the cold, suffocating expectations of his parents. He yearns to explore the unknown and find others who think like him-others who question the limits imposed by fear.

Drawn to the forbidden world beyond the icy depths of Antarctica, Ray sets out on a dangerous journey of discovery, defying his mother's dire warnings that warm waters will bring death. What he finds instead are the "land people," beings so different yet fascinating, who challenge everything he thought he knew about his place in the world.

Frozen Bay is a tale of rebellion, exploration, and self-discovery-a story about breaking free from tradition to embrace the unknown. Are you ready to follow Ray on his journey to uncover the truth about himself, his kingdom, and the possibilities beyond the frozen waves?

Starla has a destiny, which she'll remind anyone who does or does not ask. She is an Ice Princess, a magical sorceress blessed with the power to keep the ever-advancing Winter at bay. At least, that's what she's SUPPOSED to be after a lifetime of rigorous training. However, just a year shy of embarking on her heroic journey, her life as she's known it shatters. In an accidental display of ice magic, a poor city girl named Rayna outs herself as the true Ice Princess. Amid royal scandal and Winter's intensifying cold, Starla is forced to put her jealousy and hero complex aside and train the new girl. To make things more complicated, Rayna doesn't seem to really identify with being a girl, much less a princess. As Starla and Rayna grapple with the pressure of impossible expectations they can't meet and suffocating roles they didn't ask for, can they form an unlikely alliance and prevent a frozen catastrophe?
