"Leaving a bad impression on somebody you meet for the first time isn't ideal. And that's exactly what happened to Enzo when he met me. I thought he was an entitled jerk!
After a misunderstanding that led to some jail time for one of us, (I won't give it away yet) it took more than an apology to be forgiven. It took something that we both knew could land us in a whole lot of trouble.
But Enzo seemed to love trouble. And me? I started to, after getting a small taste of freedom I had never truly experienced.
Now, I know what you're thinking - "Oh God, here we go! Another cliché high school story," and let me just say, you're not wrong. But there may more to the story.
Or maybe not.
