(Y/N) is a huge fan of the "Moomin" franchise. They read the books and comics, watch the television adaptations, and collect "Moomin" merchandise. Their favorite character is the philosophical vagabond Snufkin, who appeals to (Y/N) with his charming wit and thoughtful wisdom.
One day, at the beach, they are lost at sea to a rip tide, meeting the same fate as their sister. Instead of going missing or drowning, they wake up on a beach- in Moomin Valley, and being saved by Moomin and Snufkin!
(Y/N) has no idea how they got there, or how they'll get home. But before they can even say "uh oh, Stinky," they find themselves more in love with Snufkin than ever.
Now (Y/N) must choose: to stay in this fantasy paradise, or to go home to their beloved family?

There wasn't a penny to his name, he had no job, and any money he was somehow able to get was promptly scooped up by his mother. He wished everyone in his life would just die, that was he could put up with being such a failure. But, after a few too many encounters with a jealous girlfriend, unruly relatives, and a strange man that seemed... obsessed with him, Snufkin realized his life would take a 180, for better or worse. This is my second Moomins fanfic now. I've been into reading human AU stories lately, so I thought I'd write my own. It's kinda like Chinchikurin.

And yeah, I know I'm almost a decade late to the whole Onceler phenomenon party but better late than never right? You just moved out of your parents house-kicked out by your parents rather and are now looking for career investments for your future. Unfortunately, you don't really know what you want from life so you just lounge around in your RV house. But one faithful day, you hear a particular sound and not knowing what it is or where it came from, you go and investigate. Unbeknownst to you, this entire decision changes your life, forever. (It should be noted that it's loosely based on the events that occur in the actual movie.) Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!!!

Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. As he gets up to leave from the dock, he falls into the ocean, but then he's saved by some mystery person and when he finds out it was a merman who saved him, he becomes great friends with him and finds out that his name is Eridan. But then, Eridan's father disapproves of their friendship and does something horrible. Sollux then finds Eridan with tons of cuts and bruises all over him, on the beach and helps him out. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life. She's good at hiding how hurt it makes her feel, but little does she know one bad decision will lead to the family she's always dreamed of. It's not conventional, it's not ideal, but it sure is entertaining. I love everyone that supported the first story but I'm so embarrassed by it due to how young I was when it was written. Now, 6 years later I want to try again and make it worth your time. So let's enjoy this new adventure together!
