Everyone has a Sun inside of their chests. Instead of a heart, they have a Star; a large spherical ball of light that glows when a specific emotion is felt. If they feel too much of that specific emotion, their Star can blow out and they can die...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kase White, a 16-year-old teenage girl, lives in a world where everyone has a large Star in their chest in place of a heart, including herself. Her emotion that she is not allowed to feel is "Romantic Love", and she doesn't realize how important the feeling truly is until she meets 17-year-old Ayla Adams, who is also not allowed to feel "Romantic Love".  Even with themselves knowing that they are not allowed to fall for each other, they soon do. But, since it is against their Star to do that, they could die from it. And there are still several secrets about their past and what they are that need to be discovered. Will they choose to love each other and go against their nature? Even if it kills them...?
