Daniel Stevens finds himself in the aftermath of a full scale nuclear war during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, after a nuclear warhead detonated in his hometown of Bismarck, North Dakota. After abandoning one of the only people he knew for dead after a trade deal going south, he finds himself becoming a hitman for food and resources for survival, and on the run from the law of the wasteland.

After the loss of an estimated 10,000~ soldiers the countries had decided to end this war and to take the fight to the monsters who wreaked havoc across the battlefield, not realizing it was a portal to a whole new world. First book sry for mistakes. Nothings been the same since the death blast. That what they started calling the "incident". Somewon pressed a button and nuclear bombs appeared in every au and went off at once leaving a toxic radioactive wasteland. This who survived mutated from radiation and those that didn't mutate lost there magic from radiation, no one can summon portals anymore. Error is one of the few who didn't mutate but his magic is basically gone. His blasters are full of radiation and will self destruct an explosion of radioactive waste (and an actual explosion) after a few seconds of being summoned. Teleporting to much will give him radioactive poisoning and he can only summon bones in his hands and even then not many. Error practiced summoning bone tools which helped him a lot when he needed better defense and weapons/tools. But we are not here to talk about what happened shortly after the death blast that's for another time. For now we are focusing on current events. This multiverse is one with a balance and error as destroyer (he hates his job but wasn't forced) but since there's no more aus being made balance does not matter.
