15 year old Skye is your average teenage girl. She knows the legends just like everyone else, and she knows that they are just that - legends. You could say she was a bit of a "good girl" she keeps to her self and never breaks the rules. However, she has never felt like she truly belongs, not at home, nor in her class; she just doesn't fit anywhere. So when she finds her mother's diary, she is thrown headfirst into a world of wonder, magic and danger, where she finally feels like she belongs.
