It's the one year anniversary of Caroline's mothers death. She needs to get away from Mystic Falls, the drama, and the memories it contains so she decides to rent a luxury log cabin in the mountains of Tennessee. Upon arrival, Caroline makes a last minute decision to invite Klaus to join her.
Set 1 year after Liz's death in 6.15. Caroline never turned off her humanity, Lizzie, Josie, & Hope do not exist. Smut included.
