Alyssa Sabado hasn't had the most charmed life with living with traditional asian parents, two overbearing sisters and not to mention demons like bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety. After an intense argument with her sisters she caught a fever, got rushed to the hospital.
Turns out she has Leukemia. Surprise!
During her stay at the hospital her family became more understanding, kinder even, as if all her faults were forgotten. Though as her stay in the hospital continued, the more out of touch of reality she feels. She even falls in love with a psychiatry student there who also some how returns her feelings.

Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine.
