After she beat up some goons when she was 6 the guy saw potential in her and took her in. But she turned out to be too powerful, and he decided to kill her.
That didn't go as planned and she was caught killing all those scum bags by the redhood and he did the most logical thing.

The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. Cathleen was adopted by Bruce Wayne the following week, now, it's time for her new life to begin. I own story line. Don't be haters!Complete
