Jessica Stark has spent a lot of her life in labs, both her father's and those of her best friend's father, Norman Osborn. So, it came as no surprise that when visiting her childhood friend Harry, they snuck into the Oscorp Labs. And sure, maybe Jess should've been more concerned when she was bitten by a spider in said labs, but in her defense she had no reason to suspect anything out of the ordinary. That is, until she was spooked walking home and jumped thirty feet in the air and then accidentally got inexplicably stuck to the side of a building on her way down. Maybe there was more to the spider than she had originally thought.

"They've been there for me. My shadows have been my best friends for as long as I can remember. They were there when no one else was." Amelia Bright is--remarkable. In more ways than most people know. Because, while most people see a bright, young student; they miss the gifts beneath the surface, the ones that hide away in Lia's shadow. Although, after an accident, things become complicated, and Lia's father brings her to New York to help regain a sliver of control on the power she holds. Of course, things never go to plan. Especially when Phantom meets Spiderman, and Lia meets Peter Parker, and both of their alter egos tangle as they walk the line between rivals, to allies, to something more in their separate worlds. (I do not own or claim credit for any Marvel Characters.)
