Elijah Moore (Eli) is a normal teen. she lives with her dad and brother, she goes to school and has good friends. then it is all taken away when a dark figure steals her away one night. he is obsessed and refuses to let her leave. her life changes when he takes her to an entirely new country and forces her to live with him. and his son Simon.

I crouch near her. she looks like a feral cat. her hair is matted and tangled, she has blood dried on the corner of her mouth and looks like if I get too close she will bite me. but behind it all something makes me want to look at her. she is beautiful . "what is your name pet?" I ask with a soft smile. father calls it the secret to my ability with pets. they like my smile. but not her. she just spits at me.
I grab her hair "I will ask again. what is your name?" I challenge her with my eyes to spit again. her eyes challenge me right back. and i tighten my grip making her yelp. " What.Is. Your Name?"
"kiss my ass!" she snaps at me and i wonder why father has kept her this long. usually, if they don't listen he just gets rid of them. I slap her, and she yelps.
