Fearing for his health and life, Mabel tries to help Stan quit his 30+ years smoking habit. At the same time, Mabel must deal with a promise she made to Dipper to overcome her own life threatening bad habit. This story takes place in the Adoption AU, created by Marehami and Keleficent. This story takes place during the events of the time traveller's pig during Dipper and Mabel's chase through time. Mabel makes a mistake that leaves the twins stranded in a snow storm. The two then discover secrets and revelations they were never meant to know yet. At first, they think there is no harm done, but they soon discover that knowing something too soon can cause consequences in the future and now they must decide if they want to keep the future they have created, or go back to the one they left behind.
