So, when he is hit by a bus and suddenly finds himself face-to-face with the Devil, naturally he is surprised. After a pleasant dinner, Lucifer takes Jack on a horrific journey through Jacks own life, tormenting him with horrific visions and psychological torture. Caution!!! Ben's depiction of Lucifer is what cinched this win for me, as he is snide, devious, sinister, but unapologetically charming about it all. Altogether a quality read from an upcoming author. GAVIN HETHERINGTON: BennyBedlam's imagination knows no bounds, and from what is presented in The Sins of Jack Price, he writes in a way that entertains with a very brilliant idea behind it. Control (boyxboy) AU
You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin. Being able to tamper with gravity, will he keep Pepper on the ground or will he float away. *WARNING* This is a boyxboy and if you aren't cool with that just don't read it. It does have some triggering stuff like abuse and i'm afraid it might be to important to just give you a warning to skip. I think that covers it. Enjoy the story.Complete
