After watching "The King" on Netflix and seeing the on-screen chemistry between Timothee Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp I was INSPIRED. There was such an interesting story in the few minutes of screen time they shared, that I envisioned a whole story starting after the movie ended, and I couldn't rest until I wrote it down. I tried to add historical facts and timeline as much as possible, but please remember this is a work of historical fiction so there are times where I change information to fit my story line.
