Papers flew through the air, surrounding her like a tornado in Kansas as she tumbled to the ground. She was dizzy, her head still spinning from the impact. Whoever just ran into her was about to get a piece of her mind. She lifted her head, rubbed her temple angrily and huffed. She could hear him spitting a fast apology as he attempted to gather the discarded papers. Finally, she opened her eyes and took a long, hard look at him. Concern swam through his bright blue eyes, setting her cheeks on fire. It was almost like she had lost the ability to use words. Not even she could have predicted what came next.
