Papers flew through the air, surrounding her like a tornado in Kansas as she tumbled to the ground. She was dizzy, her head still spinning from the impact. Whoever just ran into her was about to get a piece of her mind. She lifted her head, rubbed her temple angrily and huffed. She could hear him spitting a fast apology as he attempted to gather the discarded papers. Finally, she opened her eyes and took a long, hard look at him. He had been a complete fool; he had thought that he would be a good influence to his so-called friends, yet he had been unaware of the danger that lurked in the future. As the time had passed, he had realised that they were harmful, but never had a situation like this cross his mind; never had he thought that he would experience such a heart wrenching sight. The cold breeze swept past him, that caused the hairs on his nape to rise. The wind howled as if grieving along with him for the loss he experienced. The leaves rustled in the vicious storm. The clouds poured down their burdens, mourning along with him. He stared down at the horrific site. Her body was cold and lifeless, sprawled upon the floor, like a discarded piece of insignificant trash. His heart pounded wildly in his chest - the pain he experienced was so raw, he felt as if his very own heart had been torn out and trampled upon multiple times. He knew the image of her lifeless body and horrified face would forever be imprinted in his memory, and no matter how many years would pass, the pain would forever be embedded in his heart. He slumped down beside her cold body. Tears streaked his face, his vision blurred, his heart felt as if it was snatched out of his body; leaving him barren and hollow. He looked down upon her body that was stained in scarlet; her face had been mercilessly bruised and cut. The only girl he ever loved so dearly stared at him with lifeless, horror-struck eyes, drowning in a pool of her own blood.

"No... no... this can't be happening," she whispered, her voice cracking before she collapsed to her knees, tears streaming down her face. Just then, the door creaked open. He walked in. The moment she saw him, she sprang to her feet, stormed towards him, and grabbed his collar. Her eyes blazed with fury and betrayal. "You cheated me! You trapped me in this marriage!" she shouted, her voice trembling with rage. "You manipulated me, married me, and now this?" she yelled, thrusting the test in front of his face. He stared at it in confusion, but as his eyes registered the two pink lines, understanding dawned. Slowly, a smile spread across his face. She's pregnant... She's carrying my baby... I'm going to be a father. His heart raced with happiness. His plan had worked. She threw the kit to the floor and began pounding her fists against his chest, sobbing, "Why? Why did you do this to me? What did I ever do to deserve this? You've ruined my life! I hate you... I hate you! And I will never forgive you!" A twisted, guilty joy stirred in his chest. As much as it hurt to see her like this, a selfish part of him felt victorious. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her-so he did what he had to do. If love wasn't enough to keep her, then maybe responsibility would be. At least now, she was tied to him... if not by choice, then by duty. He knew her parents would never let her walk away, not with a baby on the way. And maybe-the child could bring them closer. Maybe it could fix what he broke. He smirked, a dark thought creeping in. Now, she couldn't leave. She was TRAPPED WITH HIM. FOREVER.
