" Don't you dare..... Don't you dare let out a word about what you saw just now. You got that sugar?" he said in a low husky voice. It was so difficult to even breath suddenly and I started to inhale the air more deeply, my chest heaving up and down with every breath.
He sensed the panic state I was in at the moment and took a step back, extremely slowly, creating more space for me. I watched as his eyes moved to my chest, staying there for a couple of seconds before meeting my eyes yet again. And this time, his eyes had some unknown emotion that I couldn't study, his eyes a few shades darker than before.
Then the door burst open, stealing both of our attention.

"Guys, I got another note," I say as I sit down at lunch. Vanessa and Xander were here but Hazel was missing. "Where's Hazel?" I question, eyeing her empty seat. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art projects.
