Six months ago Xander became alpha of Blackwood Pack, the second largest pack in North America. Tired of watching his pack suffer under his father's abusive regime, Xander challenged and beat his father in an alpha contest to the death. Regrettably, those mistreated under his father's reign don't yet trust him, those that carried out his father's abuse aren't keen to give up their power, and most frustratingly, the high council will not leave him alone so that he can get his pack in order.
