On Tuesday 10, 2019 In December, there was a tragic shootout with 6 people dead including a police officer Detective Seals. His funeral was on 12/17/2019. There was a lockdown at every school. My School was in the war zone. We wasn't suppose to be in the shooting, actually we were not the targets, we were just in the way at the wrong place and time. Our Teacher Told us to write or draw our experience and feelings/emotions, so i wrote a poem. I shown my parents this and they said it was very deep. Hope you can give your thoughts about it in the comments. :) Enjoy

Her Secret
I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. After all, I was Destiny Requalhi, Creator and Destructor of All. ------------------------------ Destiny Requalhi, a girl with a rough past and set in stone future. Neighbor To Neighbor
" I'm sick of you putting your hands on me Johnny!" A loud gunshot went off, echoing around the house, and for the first time, it was quiet. No more door slamming, no more cleaning up my mother's blood off the walls, and no more fighting. I remember asking my mother "Are we free?" I swear it felt like Christmas or New Year's. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. April's life changed once she saw her dad Johnny get murdered right in front of her, by her mother June. A self-defense case quickly turned to manslaughter and the law turned against June at the drop of a hat. June was sentenced to 25 to life, a then 14-year-old April was left alone. Her dad said didn't want anything to do with her as she was defending her mother and June never knew her parents as she grew up in group homes. April is now a 25-year-old private eye and teaches self-defence classes in honour of her mother. On her off days, she works at a gentleman's club called "The Claw" where she meets Derek Hill and their life is forever changed. But April has a secret and no one will ever find out, cause if you did you'll end up just like Johnny. ❌This book is not for the weak❌ 21+

The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. That's why they call me: Death -----------------------------------------************************************--------------------------------------------- Death. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. She lived in this hell hole, where they take her to rooms. Examine. Fight. She knows she won't be able to entertain them for long. She decides to run. Soul. Brown hair as mud, blue eyes as the sky. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least.
