A War is coming, and the only hope this Realm seemed to have, rested on the shoulders of a young boy. Rex, with the help of his Blade, is the key to this War. Only he can save Alrest and the Aegis from destruction.
Note: This is a spoiler-heavy story, if you rather play the game, I suggest you do that because some things are changed to fit the characters in just this story!

AU of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, where Pyra makes Rex into a Blade Eater, and Nia is the one to revive him. With the power of a continent-shattering Blade, Rex plans to fulfill his dream of reaching Elysuim. Xenoblade Chronicles... god I love this game trilogy(plus 1). The possibility for some filthy casual writer like myself to make AU's out of the incredible and diverse world Xenoblade offers us. Man, I'm already getting excited! Alright. Let's cover a few more things. -Running through the entire games plot will be really tedious. But I love this game and it's plot, so I'll follow through with it. Expect a longer book. -Pyra and Mythra will still exist, but rather then being Rex's Blade, they'll show up in dreams or something, and guide Rex along and teach him how to be a Blade Eater. Basically, thy reside inside the memory of Elysium that Rex has now, and exist inside the Core Crystal. Does that make sense? -Rex x Nia. Since Pyra/Mythra aren't alive in this, that leaves only one. I'm working on my pacing with romance, so I'll try and make it slowly build up to the point, rather then jump right into it. -No changes to the personalities. At least Im not trying to change them. -Vandham. HE LIVES. Or, I wish he did. Unfortunately, his death is just too important to the plot and Rex's character that it feels weird to cut it out. -I want to include Addam in another way. And I have a plan of how to do it, that will also satisfy one of the biggest complaints about the game. -I'd like to try and gradually work Jin over to the other side. I think it could be interesting, but that might change. -I'll try to prevent this from just being a rewrite with no Pyra/Mythra. I'll make some original moments, and throw in some filler. -EMPTY MOMENT! Okay, I'm sure you get the gist. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy. I've been looking forward to making a longer story for Xenoblade.Complete

Lyra Black is the daughter of Sirius Black. She's been through a lot throughout her seventeen years of life. As soon as she turned seventeen, she ran away from her old life and went straight to the States. She hoped to have a new life, away from all things to do with the Wizarding World, other than her magic and money of course. The Dark Lord is rising in ranks, meaning more and more people are dying or becoming Death Eaters. Being a pure blood Slytherin meant Lyra was one of the main people chosen to be a Death Eater. When Lyra went to the States, she kept in contact with her uncle, Remus Lupin, and his wife, Nymphadora Tonks. Lyra loved Lupin and Tonks more than anything, so it hurt for her to leave them behind, but she had to get away to stay alive and protect everyone she loved. She had lost almost everyone, and she refused to be the reason she lost anyone else. Moving to Forks, Washington was a huge change. She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had.
