Emie was pretty much like any other teen, keeping to herself and her small circle. Life during senior year was only proving to be an absolute shitshow that she couldn't see an escape from. The only way she thinks she can get away from that reality is if she dies. When she accidentally tells her friend Skye during a drunk breakdown, she loses her shit and tries to talk some sense into her friend. Skye asks her what she has to do to change her mind.
