Adrien rolled over in bed and tried to slam his hand on his blaring alarm clock. However, for some strange reason he couldn't reach it. So, he dragged himself out of under the covers only to find his bed seemed a LOT bigger than he remembered. Adrien scratched his head in curiosity with his, paw?!?!

Basically, this was a homework assignment for English. We had to write a short story based off Metamorphosis and I figured this was the PERFECT idea. Enjoy!!

Adrien, now a senior is high-school is and always has been one of nicest "rich kids" in school. Marinette absolutely despised that Adrien but there was something about him that always made her fumble her sentences around just from the sight of him. !! Marinette can't get Adrien off of her mind but she can't tell him how she feels because he's with Kagami. She starts to realise that Chat Noir has stopped being flirty with her all the time. "If you're gonna trust me once, please let it be this time." Adrien urged her as he stood in the door frame, his tone was gentle but urgent, and he shut the door. Ladybug collapsed and called off her transformation, revealing her civilian self. Her chest heaved with heavy sobs that escaped her body and she lowered herself to the floor. Tightening her arms around herself, she cried out. - He took a deep breath in, held it and then released it. He repeated it a second time. "I'm sorry, Ladybug. I can't just listen to you cry." He threw open the door, his eyes shut tightly. He lowered himself to the floor in front of her, settling down on his knees and extending his arms outwards. He kept his eyes shut and listened for any movement from her. - "You're not alone through this." Chat Noir's identity has been revealed in the worst possible way imaginable - In front of a nation-wide broadcast crew while facing an Akuma. His life is shaken dramatically, nothing can be the same again, and there is only one source of stability for both Adrien Agreste and Chat Noir now. Meanwhile, Marinette has to come to terms that the person she's admired and her occasionally irritating but trustworthy partner, are one in the same, all while reeling from visits from a certain cat she's grown particularly fond of. Primarily MariChat and Adrienette (It's all the same ship anyway, lets be honest here). First Marichat/Adrienette fanfic, so let me know any criticisms that you may have. "I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?" Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end?
