Simon used to be a vampire. But he doesn't know that. All he knows is that he has been a single human his whole life, and best friends with Eric. That's all he remembers. But somewhere out there, is a girl who never smiles. But she used too. She used to smile everyday because of one person who always said "I love you" at the wrong time, who had a best friend she was completely jealous of. A person who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. But sometimes things just don't work out for the best. Will Isabelle Lightwood ever get over Simon? Or will their story take on a whole new level to an old saying; If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. If not, they were never yours to begin with.
