Aster and Damien came to know one another under rather odd circumstances. One being bought at auction for the other to use as a learning tool to better control their ever growing magic, the pair of young mages forged a Soul Pact, a nearly unbreakable bond that ties the two together. Years later, when an age old threat resurfaces and threatens to tear them as well as the magical realm asunder, it is up to them to navigate the threads of fate that have tangled and frayed among a web of depravity, calamity, and hushed truths in order to find their way back to one another.
