017 is one of many children Hawkins lab experimented on. 017 was taken as an infant with no memories of her family like eleven. Hawkins Lab decides to send 017 and other experiments on a hunt for the demogorgon in the upside down. 017 the only one left alive goes back to the entrance of Hawkins lab only to meat scientists telling her to go find a boy named Will Byers in the upside down.
