Faye Beckett isn't your usual high school girl, and not just because she's taken all the classes over ten times. Having just moved to Beacon Hills Cali., Faye is hopeful this latest stop will prove less dramatic than her last home, in New York. Too bad that when you're a succubus, things tend to get dramatic. Finding a friend with benefits in the irresistible yet tortured lacrosse co-captain, Jackson Whittemore, Faye finds she has to protect him from a hunter vs. werewolf war on the rise, yet all the while help werewolf Scott keep his friends alive. Not only that but she must protect all of her new found friends from an unnamed enemy called a Kanima, a reptile weapon of vengeance. Using her knowledge of the supernatural world, and her own deadly abilities Faye attempts to keep Jackson from harm, but at what cost to her?

Magnolia McCall. She was a girl of few words, though her friends would say otherwise. She had everything her brother wanted. She was a starter for the women's lacrosse team at Beacon Hills, the captain, was popular, and could fit in anywhere. Maybe that was why they weren't close. And maybe that was why she wanted what she couldn't have - Stiles. Once Scott got bitten she could feel a shift in her and her brother's relationship, maybe it was for the better. Or maybe, it would be the one thing to really cause a rift in the sibling's relationship.
