Angelica skyler is a 17 year old girl. She's studying and working hard in school but she has been struggling since her dad passed away and her mum became an alcoholic.
Angelica lives with her alcoholic abusive mother and her 13 year old sister Addison.
Addison also goes to school, but as their mother is either always hung over, lashing out or drunk out of her mind Angelica takes responsibility of her sister.
Angelica has always liked English and English literature. She hopes to publish the books she writes one day. But her teacher Mrs Miller has always been hard on Angelica and just not fond of her. She'd always pick on her or humiliate her. But also not grading Angelica to the extent she deserved. One day Mrs Miller leaves, leaving the class with a new English teacher but there seems to be chemistry between Angelica and her new teacher. What will happen between these two?
