It all started with that three lettered word in a mysterious text from an unknown Californian number―hey.
Alex Turner is your average seventeen―almost eighteen―year old girl. She's been through the normal teenage girl drama, like every other girl her age. She never thought she would be the same after her ex shattered her heart, but she finds herself being stronger than she imagined, and pulled through what the world had to throw at her. Though she thought fate hated her, Alex was surprised when she received that three lettered text one day, along with the drama that came with it. What she didn't know, is that that simple greeting would open so many new doors.
Jake Carter was the guy for her, and fate decided that when he first sent her that text message.

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever.
