As I sat there, alone, I tried to get my head around the fact that Bucky Barnes was me.
I am Bucky Barnes, James Buchanan Barnes.
My headache worsened and I rested my chin on my knees.
I am weak, I am weak, I am weak.
I lay in a fetal position in a dark back-alley, I had lived here for just under a week now, I had my own corner and a little but of shelter that was made by the tall buildings that surrounded the small, dirty street.
I knew the remains of HYDRA were probably scouring the Earth for me so my life depended on my training of becoming invisible and blending in, being unnoticed.
Learning at least some of the truth had set my mind free. I now needed to rebuild it.

James "Bucky" Barnes is recovering from 70 years of brainwashing and mindless slaughter. He is running from the evil clutches of HYDRA and trying to adjust to normal life 70 years from when his "ended".

A few years of homeschooling later, my dad decided public school would be more beneficial for my childhood development. I'm obviously not good with new people, so this idea didn't thrill me. I somehow ended up making friends though. Things started to get weird after I woke up in hospital, people started looking at me weirdly and my dad felt distant. I start getting close with Peter, but I over hear something strange in the Avengers compound about myself, so I end up going to Peter's, trying to escape from the truth of happened many years ago. Will I run away with Peter and will everything go to plan? Or will the truth come out, leading to a relationship I'd never expected to happen? The cold water dripped inside on my cell, as the droplets hit my bare back, I could only shudder from the feel. I knew he would be back any given minute. He had another PR meeting with his team, Captain America, what a joke. If only they really knew who he was. A monster that Hydra cooked up. I could hear the other man groaning, they had started pumping him with more super soldier serum to keep him alive, but his body was rejecting it. Whenever I was able to, I would sneak off to the corner of my cell and talk to him, he would never respond, but I had a feeling it comforted him knowing I was here for him. Like I had a choice. Where could I go? I couldn't remember who I was, not strong enough to fight off Steve, or smart enough to get myself out. I heard the heavy door to my cell room creak open, heavy footsteps walked in, stopping right in front of me. "Wow, I had a really long day! All I need to do is unwind with my little Sarah."
