Someone had noticed I existed. "I don't- I'm not sure..." She closes her eyes and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Me and some of my friends are planning to leave and get away from this place, and just as we were getting on the ship I saw you stood here. I knew I had to come and speak to you. We are fleeing this planet and it's reach. Would you care to join us?" I was star struck. Speak damn it! "I- I'd love to Ma'am!" She pulled a soft smile at me. "Please, call me Rose!"
Vanessa was a former prisoner on the mess she called home, but after escaping with some fellow fugitives and taking a human form, everything changes for the former homeworld gem.

As the days passed, she started noticing this same mysterious man lurking around her usual haunts. He seemed to be everywhere, like a creepy stalker who had taken a liking to her. He was there at every corner, every event she attended, and even outside her apartment building. His presence became an obsession that she couldn't ignore, sending shivers down her spine but just as he came he left in the darkness air. Poof! Gone! Just like that.
