Nothing. I was nothing. And that's all I'd ever been. Humans always had fascinating ways of everything, but of course, I wasn't one. Instead, I was thrown out and beaten down. Unused. That was the usual, until one person stopped it all. "Hello." Her words were timid and her voice was soft. It was beautiful, calming, welcoming! "Is everything alright little one?" I was in shock. Someone had noticed I existed. "I don't- I'm not sure..." She closes her eyes and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Me and some of my friends are planning to leave and get away from this place, and just as we were getting on the ship I saw you stood here. I knew I had to come and speak to you. We are fleeing this planet and it's reach. Would you care to join us?" I was star struck. Speak damn it! "I- I'd love to Ma'am!" She pulled a soft smile at me. "Please, call me Rose!"
Vanessa was a former prisoner on the mess she called home, but after escaping with some fellow fugitives and taking a human form, everything changes for the former homeworld gem.

I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
