[Fantasy / Romance / Book 2] In Queen Andromeda's unforeseen absence, Scott MacRae has assumed power. His son, Joseph, is his right-hand man. And Pyxis, the fairy city they preside over, has never been more peaceful or prosperous. This is the appearance they need the fairy world to behold. The truth is too cruel to fathom. They are painfully vulnerable. Evil is never very far. So they bury it deep and cling to the hope it won't claw its way out. Scott MacRae knows in his gut that Andromeda will return and that his days could be numbered. It's no wonder he can't focus or sleep at night. His heart is full of holes. There is only one void he can possibly fill - if any. But as both a father and leader, any action he takes will have profound consequences. Joseph believes what he wants to believe - that which makes him admired and respected, a fairy celebrity, everything he wasn't in his former human life. But his truth lurks in the shadows too. Try as he may, he's far from perfect. He can't forgive or forget. Or avoid temptation. He's come so far. He's found his purpose. And yet he still wants what he can't have, an ideal he perpetually fails to obtain. Cassiopeia was always a princess, but for the first time ever, she's assumed the lifestyle she was never granted during her mother's reign. Despite the dress fittings, grand appearances, and a high-profile engagement, she doesn't have any real power in the kingdom she will supposedly inherit someday. She is small. She is wingless. She is not her mother. Her world never fails to remind her. Does it even matter? It's hard to say. Something is missing. Or someone. And she isn't who she once was. The higher they rise, the harder they'll fall? Christopher MacRae. He left four years ago and no one has heard from him since. Is he dead or alive? Is he the solution or the problem? And where is Andromeda anyway? If Christopher and his allies haven't vanquished what remains of her army...then who will?

Growing up in a military household I only had my brother to depend on. Father was always out for months at a time, and mommy dearest would rather do anything else than to be a real mother. So, I took care of my little brother. I made sure he had food and school lunch and just about anything he needed. And when I turned 17, got my first job, I started to get him things he wanted. I got him a game system, I got him books and a laptop. I took care of him. Then he turned into a Marine jar head just like our father. But he was still my little brother. But since he was in the Middle East... I had no one. No friends, no family, and certainly no love. Until I come across a moody biker hottie, Lucien, that apparently can't seem to leave me alone. All I had meant to do was talk up the babe in the damn coffee shop. She was always here. Always making the coffee. Never actually talking to the people. Then came the gun and the threats. I stepped up, I took the asshat down. But not before he called the owner, Jackie, by name, trying to kill her. It wasn't a robbery, it was a targeted kill. Was my damn luck that the honey I wanted to get to know turned out to be the owner that had a gun in her face, and for some reason, I had a feeling that it wasn't the first time she had one pointed at her. Bastard got away after she decided to hit him over the head and missed and hit me. So now... I am her very personal body guard. NOW AVAILABLE ON KINDLE/AMAZON NEW SERIES WILL BE WRITTEN ON HERE... Y/n L/n, a senior at Arasaka Academy, slightly older then his close friend David Martinez. Related to Moira L/n and step-father Jiro Sasaki, no information regarding the biological father but it seems there is no desire for Y/n to know their father as the relationship between them and their step-father is very positive, even more so then their relationship with their mother which some report it to be almost combative. Y/n is nearing graduation and agents have suggested offering them a job in Arasaka's Counter Intelligence Division. - - - - - - - Story Summary: Y/n is the child of one of Arasaka's Netrunning Division second-in-command, Moira L/n and step-child to NC Boxing coach and Ex-Heavy weight boxing belt champion Jiro "Pain Train" Sasaki. Y/n has proven to have a solid understanding all things Net-related and technical; however, Y/n is one to shy away from conflict relaying on keeping to himself and manipulating from the shadows in order to keep themselves off the frontlines. This story will detail the rebel trail one corpo will travel in order to uncover the sick truth underneath Night City, to love and lost, to confront the streets where only the most unrelenting mercs will survive. So what will this corpo rat turned street beast have to offer and will it be enough to become a NC legend or will they be just another number scrapped out of the gutter. The Experiment (Kingsman Eggsy x Reader)[1] by OneBadWriter89
19 parts Complete
"Let's face it, Galahad, your little experiment failed." "Guinevere." Galahad continued, ignoring Arthur's remark. "She has a younger sister, and I believe if they share the same blood, than perhaps she might be the best candidate to step into her sister's shoes." There was silence while Arthur considered his options, then he finally said, "Alright. Let's see how well this experiment goes, compared to your previous one." __________________________________________________________________ (Y/N) is nothing like her sister, the Kingsman "Guinevere", or her father, a deceased soldier who fought with Harry Hart in their prime. She doesn't do 'teamwork', and she couldn't give a shit about saving the world even if it hit her in the face. She stopped trying to be like her sister years ago. She's what everyone, including herself, would call a delinquent now; an outcast of what is left of her broken family. But when the only person she had left dies attempting a rescue mission in Argentina, she might just have to change the way she sees herself. Perhaps with a little help from a frustratingly likable street kid with an odd name. ___________________________________________________________________ Reader meet Eggsy. Delinquent meet snob-spy world. Nasty, wanna-claw-my-eyes-out writing, characters, and plot, meet Fanfiction. What could possibly go wrong? I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS, OR PLOT, OR WORLD OF KINGSMAN, excluding the MC's personality, story arc and/or background. This is simply for entertainment and writing practice honestly.
Dirty Hands- The City Of Whisperers by krixie_vold

The last time Kaia saw her mother, she was nothing more than a pale shadow of the vibrant woman who had once been the heart of their kingdom. Her mother's breath came in shallow, labored gasps, the sickness claiming her slowly, piece by piece. But it was the words her mother spoke before her final breath that Kaia would carry with her forever. "The world is not as it seems, my love. Trust in yourself. Trust in the wind." Kaia didn't understand them then, but she would-soon enough. Her kingdom, once a land of magic and power, was falling apart. In the days before, the whispers had started. The sound of the earth, the wind, and the water; forces long ignored were now seen as a threat. Whisperers, beings like Kaia, who could bend the elements to their will, were hunted, sold, and killed like animals. But the true collapse of everything came after her mother's death. Her father, once a proud ruler, crumbled under the weight of his own guilt. And Kaia, filled with grief and rage, ran. She couldn't bear to stay any longer, not in the ashes of a kingdom that no longer cared for its people-or its whisperers. It was in her flight that she was taken. Abducted by the Rahibils, the hunters of the unspoken kind, who dealt in stolen souls. And in that dark, suffocating world of cages and chains, she met Reez-a stranger with eyes as sharp as the blade he wielded, and a heart hardened by the same cruel fate. They would be each other's strength in the days to come, as they plotted escape, and as Kaia learned the true meaning of freedom. But freedom, she would soon learn, came at a price higher than she could have ever imagined. The world was not as it seemed. She would find out soon enough just how deep the darkness went, and how far she was willing to go to uncover the truth. But only if she doesn't get herself killed first.

Cyberpunk: 2075

200 parts Ongoing

Crossing over into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 should be an opportunity to make a big splash... Wait, hold on, isn't this the year 2075? Sure, it's already November, and 2076 is just around the corner, but I only know about what happens in 2077! In this world, you might not want to live, but you can't afford to not have a job. Anyway, let's start by becoming a mercenary and picking up gigs. That sounds simple enough, but getting a job from a fixer only to face off against an ACPA (Armored Combat Personal Assist) right off the bat-aren't we going a bit overboard here? And who's this daughter of Michiko Arasaka? I've only seen the demo; I don't know these people! What kind of chaotic mission is this!?
