He woke to the darkness of the empty laboratory.
The bittersweet smell of dried blood and bleach..the sound of metal settling over head.. and the air so heavy feeling it nearly crushed him.
The protogen stepped out of the testing tube, wires and the breathing mask he wore coming off. He stumbled to grab something to cover his naked form with, despite there being no genitalia existent on his body. He wrapped a moth-eaten lab coat and pants, putting them on..
And out he walked, into what he'd soon learn was Radiant Garden..

First original-ish story! I decided to try something new, and go for a sci-fi mix to Kingdom Hearts. This series does not belong to me, and HUGE spoilers ahead.
Also, trigger warning for gore, body horror, graphic depictions of death. If you are squeamish to these things, please avoid this story. If not, then go on ahead and read! Feel free to give criticism, as this is my first actual fanfic, and not crackfic or headcanons piled into one book.
