Tatum Preston (26) has been to hell and back. Now living in the city of Los Angeles in 2021 with her best friend Francesca (26), everything she's ever worked for hanging on by a thread and to no fault of her own. Dancers have a shelf life you see - at least that's what Hollywood beats into you. Her manager, part of the company Andromeda, has been stealing money from their clients. A lawsuit is in place and Tatum is still stuck in a contract. No new tours can be booked. No new music videos. No new work of any kind - at least not yet. Tatum is ready to leave LA and go back to New York - to the city she loves and holds some of the best memories before losing her mother - before she discovered her ex-boyfriend, Josh Reeves from the band Colorless was cheating on her. She'd sworn off musicians since then. She'd practically sworn off men all together until one night when Francesca drags her to an album release party for one of her empoloyer's, MDDN, clients. And there he was. The one and only Awsten Knight (29). She'd remembered the first time she saw him in the offices after she brought Francesca lunch while Fran was an intern. It had been a bad day for Tatum. One full of grieving the recent loss of her mother and the person who she thought was the love of her life. Now on brisk night in late February, Tatum and Awsten were brought back together by an invisible string. If Tatum Preston thought her world was already upside down - she was sadly mistaken.

Awsten wakes up in the middle of a bad episode of sleep paralysis. Left feeling anxious and overwhelmed, he quickly realizes he cannot remember the details of the night before. He doesn't know why his friends slept over his house. He doesn't understand how all of his neighbors could suddenly vanish without a trace. He begins to doubt his sanity when he keeps seeing faces from the corner of his eye that look like the ones from his sleep paralysis hallucination. Is he losing it? Awsten Knight is a loud-mouthed asshole who wears skirts, seemingly couldn't give a fuck, and can pack a goddamn punch. Geoff Wigington is a fairly reserved punk kid who although has been through some shit, still manages to shut up and sit tight - unless of course, you're being an annoying prick. The first time the two collide isn't the meet-cute that everyone in teen movies dream of, involving an extra-large slurpee, a pleated skirt and a giant bruise. However, instead of the original choice to just ignore and push past it, they're forcibly re-acquainted through a class project that accounts for 20% of their grade. [COMPLETE] Awsten Knight is in the aftermath of his break up, preparing for almost a full year of touring. He's going through his days mindlessly, awaiting the next sugar spike that will spark the start of this seemingly never ending cycle. His next sugar spike, comes at 11:11, in the form of a girl wandering around Target. Awsten feels drawn to her, intrigued in too many ways to count. The only way to get his feelings out of his system is to write about it, after consulting with his best friend and bandmate, Geoff. He writes an obsessive love song, which he finds himself playing on repeat, only becoming more infatuated with this mystery girl, every time he thinks of her. Elle Wright leaves her home city after a painful breakup, escaping to the other side of the world, desperate for a change of scenery. She didn't know that her new start would include becoming best friends with her idol. The two of them are finding their feet, learning to be alone again, and in that, they find comfort in each other. Though, they can't help the overwhelming feelings that after their respective heartbreaks, they may never bloom again.Terminé
